MALVERN RFC - CODE OF CONDUCT

1. MALVERN RFC - CODE OF CONDUCT

Malvern RFC Breaks Down Its code of conduct for Senior Players, Junior Players, Volunteers, Coaches and Parents.

The committee accept that the club do not operate in a "bubble" and the standards that prevail outside the club could influence behaviour within the club. However this does not mean that we should not set standards of behaviour appropriate for a family environment.

Overriding each of the code of conduct sections are four key points that apply across the whole of the club.

  1. The verbal or physical abuse of any of our staff, coaches or volunteers is unacceptable.
  2. The dealing, procuring or taking of drugs on club premises is forbidden.
  3. The purchase of alcohol by or for any child under the age of 18 is forbidden.
  4. Club premises are not permitted to be used for any sexual activity.

(Premises mean any part of the buildings, car park or grounds known as Malvern RFC to include land utilised by the club for Home Fixtures).

  • Play within the Laws of the Game
  • Reject cheating, racism, violence and drugs
  • Play to win but not at all costs – win with dignity and lose with grace
  • Recognise that many officials and referees are volunteers, who devote considerable time to enhancing the enjoyment of rugby union for all –value them and treat them with respect.
