It is with great sadness that we share the passing of , Kevin King.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of one of Malvern RFC's most cherished members, Kevin King.
Kevin was our longest-serving member and an Honorary Life Member of Malvern RFC, having joined the club in 1965 after moving to Malvern whilst serving in the RAF. Over the following six decades, Kevin became a familiar and much-loved face around Spring Lane, always greeting everyone with a smile and a warm welcome.
A true gentleman, Kevin was an unwavering supporter of the club and someone whose positivity, kindness and presence touched generations of players, members and supporters. He was ever optimistic and never short of an opinion when it came to Ireland's fortunes during the Six Nations, taking great pleasure in celebrating their successes in recent years.
For many, Saturday afternoons in the Members' Bar will never quite be the same. The club has lost one of its biggest smiles, and Kevin's presence, friendship and good humour will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Kevin's contribution to Malvern RFC and the friendships he built here over so many years will never be forgotten.
Our thoughts are with Kevin's family and friends at this difficult time.
We will share details of Kevin's funeral arrangements as soon as they are available.
As Kevin’s wife of nearly 30 years I am overwhelmed by all the wonderful messages I have received from all our friends but from all the Club Members who knew him so well in his playing days and latterly a spectator from the Bar this means an awful lot to me personally. His second home as I referred to it😀
Rugby was a very big part of his life but the people who were part of this life were close friends and he appreciated you all. From the bottom of my heart I thank you for making this part of his life so special xxx
